accreditation from the Joint
Commission International
(JCI), the worldwide leader
in improving the quality of
healthcare.

We sought accreditation
because we want to provide
the best care possible for our

accomplishment crowns a year
of achievements for our Hospital.
Each and every member of
the Hospital’s team is proud to
have played a part in this major
accomplishment. Earning JCI
accreditation is another step
towards excellence, he added.
Earlier this year, GMC hospital
was rated as the best Medical
Tourism Provider by The New
Economy Magazine, UK.
Through its partnership with
Yale University, Salama bint
Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation
has unveiled its Early Childhood
Development (ECD) program
that includes the establishment
of a state-of-the-art Early
Childhood Education (ECE) for
the UAE.
The Foundation’s ECD program
was launched at Muntada, a
forum held on 7th October
at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Abu
Dhabi, which had over 150
attendants.
The Centre, which is to be called
the Salama bint Hamdan Al
Nahyan Centre of Excellence in
Early Childhood Development
aims to implement services
and systems that supports the

Foundation’s ECD program launched at Muntada
The American Corner of Abu Dhabi City, a resource center for US
history, culture, policy and business located at ALHOSN University,
recently held an awareness campaign dubbed “A World Without
Alzheimer’s” in recognition of World Alzheimer’s Month.
