GMU Science Fest will feature the first two rounds
of the GMU SUPERBRAIN SCIENCE QUIZ. The quiz
concentrates on testing the science aptitude of
the participants. The topics are all related to the
various areas of science.
Students from Grade 10, 11 or 12 are expected to
submit their work in any of the two sub-categories:
Project
Poster
Students are judged on the following:
• Theme/ Topic / Concept • Knowledge about the exhibit
• Presentation skills • Creativity / innovation
RULES
FOR PARTICIPATING STUDENT(S)
• The event is open for students of Grade 10, 11 and 12.
• All entries must be endorsed / approved by the school.
• A student can only participate in any one category (Project or Poster)
• If the exhibit is a Project, it can be done by a team of up to four (4) members.
• If the exhibit is a Poster, it can be done by a team of up to two (2) members.
• The theme of the exhibits is strictly limited to Medicine or Healthcare.
• The participating student(s) is expected to be at the event venue, next to their exhibit for both days.
• The guidelines for the Poster exhibits are given separately on the participation form.
FOR SCHOOL(S)
• Each school may submit upto 10 exhibits*.
• Maximum allowed “Projects” from each school is five (5).
• Maximum allowed “Posters” from each school is five (5).
*Note: The school is to select the best entries and submit the forms for exhibits. Once the maximum
number is reached, GMU will not accept any more enteries from that particular school.
• All entries must be endorsed / stamped by the school.
• For projects, the entry form must be stamped
• For posters, the rear side of the poster must be stamped
