Welcome to our
festive edition
of HEALTH
magazine. This is
my favorite time
of the year where
the weather is
getting cooler, the
festive spirit is in
the air and we are nearing the New Year.
This issue is full of festive features. One is
a comprehensive look at the best family
styled brunches around. These are all child
friendly and a wonderful way to spend
some time with family in the cooler weather
with some delicious food. There is also an
informative feature on men’s watches by
Carl F. Bucherer in addition to a festive
fitness feature, and a guide on how to host a
festive party without breaking your budget.
With UAE’s thriving art and cultural scene,
for the upcoming UAE National Day, I
spoke with some Emiratis in addition to
expats; all hailing from creative fields. I
also met with a few moms for a parenting
feature entitled ‘What Type of Mom
Are You?’ whereby each one discussed
parenting styles, discipline, and the day-
to-day challenges in dealing with children.
With our eminent HEALTH Awards
approaching on January 16, 2017, we have
had several celebrities laud our initiatives
for this first time ever exciting event.
One was Bollywood celebrity Sonu Sood
who also talked fitness as a lifestyle habit
as well as Pakistani TV celebrity Ahsan
Khan who spoke candidly about his most
gripping TV role in the drama series
‘Udari’.
