Italian and French Fine Dining at Le Cirque Dubai
Calling all discerning gourmands, Le Cirque at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, DIFC is a perfect blend of well thought out dishes, a beautiful and playful ambiance, and an iconic international reputation. Inspired by the rich flavors of France and New York, Le Cirque Dubai—located at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, DIFC, serves up a fine dining, yet contemporary dining experience for discerning gourmands.
Satin fabrics, velvet seating, and modern paintings lend an artsy circus theme to Le Cirque which has added even more new dishes to its stellar menu. We were served fresh from the oven breads with French butter; always my favorite; with the soup du jour—fresh pumpkin soup topped with crème fraiche and crispy bread. The burrata—one of the best in Dubai—was a creamy medley of heirloom tomatoes, balsamic, and basil. The heady steak tartare, with charcoal egg and pickles is a delicate dish, with understated flavors and a fresh texture. And the truffle bread—a thin crust tart, topped with arugula and fontina cheese was another favorite.
Our mains included the smoked salmon gnocchi with sundried tomatoes and spinach—a satisfying creamy dish while the seafood linguini was brimming over with mixed seafood and hints of chili and lemon. Le Cirque offers lots of premium cuts of steak—we ordered the steak to share which arrived on a large trolley and was sliced and served with a majestic showmanship. It was served with asparagus and potato au gratin with peppercorn and Béarnaise sauces.
The sweet treats were equally decadent—we enjoyed the apple tarte fine served with caramel sauce and cinnamon ice cream and the delicately crispy strawberry vacherin—a crisp meringue, whipped cream and raspberry with cassis sorbet.
The Verdict: Le Cirque is one of those ideal places that makes a lasting impression on its guests; with its food ot its ambiance, it’s the quintessential venue for a celebratory meal.
