Moreish Creates Food that Loves You Back

Stepping into Moreish, located in Oud Metha, is like stepping into a small al fresco styled European bistro—with teal colored walls, modern posters, and a quirky, cozy ambiance. Moreish is a family, home-grown concept spearheaded by a mother-daughter duo who have developed some amazing recipes and innovative dishes that not only taste delicious, but are healthy, fresh, and creative. Here’s how our experience went…
The menu is expansive, with lots of Tex-Mex dishes, continental, and some fun Italian/Mediterranean meals; the fact that it is all vegetarian and some vegan is a plus point AND all sauces and condiments are made fresh from scratch.
We began with two different kinds of soups—the roasted pumpkin soup which was really thick with an infusion of walnut butter and pan fried basil which gave it that next level flavor and was garnished with toasted pumpkin seeds. The other was the home-style tomato soup served with tiny croutons. This had an incredible Umami flavor that comes from the slow cooking process.
We also tucked into the watermelon and feta salad with fresh arugula and balsamic reduction. The starters included barbequed tofu fries served with a really delicious mildly spiced bbq sauce for dipping, as well as an unusual take on bruschetta, in form of grilled peach and pesto bruschetta, with a medley of textures—crunchy from the base, the smooth mellowness from the grilled peaches, and the fresh basil pesto and walnuts, each lending its’ own unique flavor.
The mains were three very different types—the mushroom quesadillas stuffed with cheese, black beans and corn, then topped with chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and sour cream. We also tried the creamy mushroom farfalle pasta which was fragrant with mild hints of truffle and then the showstopper—the polenta steak, topped with vegetable ratatouille on a gorgeous green pesto sauce, and garnished with bread chips and shredded parmesan. It really was delicious and the mellowness of the polenta cakes married beautifully with the Umami tomato and pesto sauce.
The grand finale was the eggless cake which was the brown sugar and sea salt ganache cake. It was a really rich brown sugar cake topped with a creamy, slightly tangy icing and garnished with a sea salt chocolate ganache.

Excellent
When its time to dine out, I’m the one who turns a decision maker.
Well this time I chose Moreish because I’ve seen my fellow blogger rave about it.
Located at Oud Metha, this little cozy joint creates homely vibe once entered. The dark blue painted walls adds up to the gram-worthy pictures
Time to celebrate
Ok coming to the food part, we started off with the drinks. Death by chocolate & Salted Caramel frappe is what we relished. It was rich & luscious
Appetizers- Arancini balls. This was the star of the night. Irresistibly delicious & cheesy Sicilian rice balls just vanished into thin air, as soon as it’s been served
superb
The Arborio rice balls with molten cheddar center, submerged over the tangy tomato dip and coated with generous amount of Parmesan sauce
Its too beautiful place with tasty food
Kids got to order “The Portobello belly” gourmet burger.
lip smacking
The best part is you can make your own pasta .,that is totally customizable. Choose your favorite pasta, sauce, cheese , toppings etc & enjoy!
“Polento steak” is outstanding
Grilled peach & pesto bruschetta. It’s an eye candy dish. But didn’t please my tastebuds to that level. As I found it bit on a sweeter side. But if you are a die hard fan of pesto sauce , you might like it.
Nice information
Its great menu n venue

Lovely
Moreish is amazing! I don’t think there is anything else to say. Every bite is delicious. This is a great place to come for vegetarian food with a twist!
This quaint little restaurant offers amazing vegetarian options of all the popular non veg delicacies, from quesadilla to pasta to stir fries. Simply awesome.
The food was so good we didn’t stop to take pics
An absolute gem! Have loved everything that I have tried but the polenta steak and the quinoa salad needs a special mention. Love that the service is so genuine and non robotic! It’s a must try!
Great small vegetarian restaurant with delicious dishes, we had Alfredo and stir fry with rice and both were made perfectly. The service team is also nice polite people but with a little more attentiveness this restaurant can get 5* easily. PS: for the person complaining about the price in the review below if you can’t afford dining out cook yourself at home. The price was very fair and reasonable
My daughter found this cute little joint. Absolutely enjoyed the experience. The owners’ love for the food, environment and all things vegetarian came right thru’. Didn’t realise this is veggie joint till we opened the menu 😁). But the food was delicious and very well put together (haven’t come across a few them ever👌). The drinks were yummy (except the Bloody Mary ). And the enthu of the owners were visible. Would hopefully find my way back (my daughter would, I am sure!!).
A gem in the crowd of many restaurants in Dubai, stands out for its fresh food, limited menu yet diverse cuisines and a truly vegetarian experience.
Worth a try… Best homemade recipes curated by the host
Thank you Vanita and Bhavika. Loved the food. Varied innovative dishes. Excellent service. Very very happy with my experience
Loved every bit of it. The food is wonderful and the hospitality was amazing
The service is one of the slowest I have experienced. Good food but absolutely no concern on what customer wants. I saw 4 members from a family who appeared to me the owners of the restaurant apart from 2 waiters, but all of them were busy talking inside or discussing. We were 4 adults and 3 kids sitting outside at 11.15 pm. To divert their attention to send the waiter outside, it used to take a while till they decide to see outside.
Wide choice of good vegan / vegetarian/ jain dishes
Well decored. Cozy place. Good test. Pure vegetarian – no onion – no garlic – worth visiting and having different dishes
There are very few vegetarian spots that I truly like in Dubai and @moreishdubai_ take the cake for sure 😍
I highly recommend polenta steak – grilled corn meal with vegetable ratatouille and pesto cream sauce. An explosion of flavors I can never get enough of.
I also tried their much talked about beetroot risotto and I completed understand now what the fuss was all about. The quantity might not look generous by the presentation but trust me … the spoon does go deeper.
I loved the Brown sugar & sea salt ganache cake way more than the parle G tiramisu. Best thing I tried all week. 🍰
Top it off with their Nutella Oreo frappe and it’s a meal you will not forget 🍫
I am really glad this restaurant understands how vegetarian dishes can be a lot of fun … something that is usually looked down upon by most restaurants in Dubai. They have definitely outdone themselves and I am already a regular now
Lovely place and ambiance and yummy home cooked food with a twist
It was an an amazing experience at moreish. The food was incredible. The presentation of the lovely dishes was very nice. I would suggest the yummy red Thai curry and the pumpkin soup. The moreish team also managed to pull of a great interior which gave great comfort. Overall it is a good restaurant and would totally recommend it for the food lovers.
Awsome Food and Lovely Staff a great combination ❤
