Our Thumbay Annual Healthy Baby Contest took place on
February 27 and was organized by Thumbay Hospital in Dubai. A
memorable event, it is held annually, to raise community awareness
and to inculcate health and nutrition habits for children at an early
age for healthy living and a balanced lifestyle. The contest also
advocates health consciousness among mothers as well as examines
the different factors affecting the health of children with a core focus
on prevention of sickness at early stages. It also is a great platform
for a personal and friendly interaction with our renowned doctors.
In theme with our competition, this issue focuses on family; from
finding just the perfect nanny for your child to teaching social
skills to your toddler. For moms-to-be, we show you how to safely
tackle associated skin problems that can crop up during pregnancy
and also, once your bundle of joy is actually here, how moms can
effectively get back into shape. And not forgetting dads, we have
some great tips on putting the zing back into your marriage and also
how to keep dad fully involved when your baby comes along.
