His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi,

Crown Prince of Ajman is seen at Rulers Court along with

Thumbay Group’s Founder President, Mr. Thumbay Moideen during Karnataka’s Honorable Minister of Health, Shri U.T.Khader’s visit to

Gulf Medical University, Ajman - UAE.

Prof. Dr. Zaid H. Baqain, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, Jordan University Hospital

along with the MOH UAE delegation is seen at GMC Medical & Dental Specialty

Center – Sharjah along with hospital management. The delegation toured the

center and its facilities.

Students of Gulf Medical University organized a Diabetes Awareness

program to educate the public about how to get the best care for

diabetes, treatment, and information about how to manage it. The event

reached out to the public using posters, conducting blood tests and

educative seminar.

Provost, Prof. Gita Ashok Raj along with various deans of colleges is

seen with GMU’s Student Council and Emirati students during the

43rd UAE National Day. The student organized various activities and

entertainment to commemorate the day.

H. E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Thani, Managing Director,Golf

and Shooting Club Sharjah, is seen with Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay,

Director - Healthcare Division, Thumbay Group and other dignitaries of

Thumbay Hospital, during the former’s tour of Thumbay Hospital, Dubai.

GMC Hospital, Ajman inaugurated its new department of Plastic and

Reconstructive Surgery, undertaking all contemporary aesthetic

procedures and surgeries in addition to the entire gamut of hand and

reconstructive surgery for cancer, trauma and congenital anomalies.

The Student Council of Gulf Medical University hosted the Qur’an

Recitation competition in December 2014. The student led activity was

conducted in order to encourage young Muslim students to memorise

and understand the Holy Quran, and to spread the Quranic values of

peace and love.
