SEMOLINA CAKE
Ingredients
Al Baker Semolina
: 1 cup
All purpose Flour
: 1 tbsp
Walnut Halves
: 1 cup
Baking Powder
: 1 tsp
Salt
: ½ tsp
Unsalted Butter
: 1 tbsp
Honey
: ½ cup
Sugar
: ¼ cup
Eggs
: 3 nos
Pure Vanilla
: ½ tsp
Method
• Heat pan and roast the walnuts.
• In a bowl break eggs, sugar and beat well.
• Add honey, butter, Al Baker semolina and whisk well.
• Then add vanilla essence and baking powder.
• Finally add all purpose flour and mix to batter like consistency.
• Pre-heat oven in 175 °c for 15-20 minutes.
• Take a baking dish and grease it with oil and place a butter paper.
• Pour batter in the baking dish and place it in oven for 1 hour at
135 °c.
• Remove from oven and put the cake on a plate when cool.
• Slice and serve.
AL BAKER
KHEEMA SAMOSA
Ingredients
Al Baker All purpose Flour
: 3 Cups
Oil for binding
: 4 tbsp
Carom seeds
: 1 tbsp
Onions, grated
: 2 nos
Black pepper, ground
: 1 tsp
Fennel seeds
: ½ tsp
Cumin
: 1 tsp
Oil
: for frying
Water
: 1 cup
Lamb, minced
: ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste
: 1 tbsp
Coriander, chopped
: 2 tbsp
Green chilli chopped
: 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder
: ½ tsp
Method
• In a bowl take Al Baker All Purpose flour.
• In a hot pan add cumin seeds, carom seeds, fennel seeds, black
pepper, onion, green chilli, ginger garlic paste, minced lamb,
salt, chilli powder, coriander and cook well.
• Once done let it cool.
• Make lemon sized balls of the dough.
• Heat oil in a pan side by side.
• Roll the dough in egg shape.
• Cut the egg shape into halves.
• Apply water on the edges and fold to triangular cone shape.
• Put stuffing in the cone and seal it with water
• Deep fry the samosas in hot oil.
• Remove from oil and put in a plate and serve.
