Balance Your Emotions with Color Therapy

We all know color plays a role in how we look and in our homes, but did you know color therapy can be used to balance our emotions? Holistic Aesthetician Katrina Valente reveals more…

The Balance
“The 14 colors of the chakras determine how you are feeling on an emotional level. Each color relates to an emotion and an organ, which also has a meaning.. I use the Altearah Bio Colour therapy range consisting of perfumes and oils made up of various essential oils to match the vibration of the chakra to use on your body and in professional treatments.”

Benefits
“Color therapy is used to balance the body and relieve stress, bringing you back into total alignment. The perfumes through inhalation give you immediate relief while the oils work on a deeper level.”

Treatment
Color therapy can be done in a facial, a massage, or a healing session. First the client chooses 4 out of 14 colors. The first color is what they need to connect to, the second is the block, third the support, and the fourth is where they want to be in the not so distant future. Then they inhale each colored perfume made from Organic essential oils to match the same vibration as the chakra. I will explain to them what each color means and they can always relate to it one hundred percent of the time. Then I go ahead and use the 4 colored oils or serums in the treatment. The result is a change on an emotional as well as a physical level. One treatment is enough and then they can purchase the products to use at home for continued well-being.”

Bring More Color into Your Life
“I think a good way to bring more color into your life is to choose colorful clothing, surround yourself with color in your home and office, flowers, plants, ornaments, and paint the walls a color that makes you feel calm. Color really does change your mood, give you a feel good factor, and most importantly, helps balance your whole being. Be more aware and see how color can affect your mood every day.”
