Premium Organic Dairy Koita Makes a Difference

Meet Mustafa Y. Koita, Founder and CEO of Koita, a home-grown healthy foods company, specializing in premium organic dairy, which is currently the number one Organic Cow Milk Company in the Middle East.

The Brand
“We’re founded on 3 principals: Eat Good (you are what you eat), Feel Good, and Do Good, whereby we donate a portion of our profits to charity.”

The Difference
“Our milk is produced in Italy and is EU Organic Certified. The reason we chose Italy for our milk production was not just for its reliable Organic Certification; but also because of taste. Italian soil is very rich and also provides extra nutrients.  The reason for this is because Mount Vesuvius had two large volcanic eruptions 35,000 and 12,000 years ago that left the Italian region blanketed with very thick deposits of tephra; which has since weathered to rich soils. Our cows get these nutrients from the soil / grass they eat, which then makes them produce nutritious and delicious Koita milk.

Health Benefits
“Koita’s cows are only given organic feed which is free of pesticides and toxic fertilisers. Additionally, our cows are not injected with any hormones or antibiotics which could potentially end up in the milk.  Also, our organic milk is enriched with plant-based Vitamins A and D3, for added nutritional value.  We now also have the region’s first hormone-free, antibiotic-free and pesticide-free Lactose-Free Milk in 1 Liter and 200ml Kids sizes.”

Charity Initiatives
“Our company believes in good karma and giving back to the community. In fact, the company charter documents mandate Koita to give a portion of our profits annually to local charities. We have put a lot of thought into selecting the right charities within the Middle East to support.  Some of the charities that Koita works with are, but not limited to: Ramadan Sharing Fridges UAE, Adopt-A-Camp Foundation, Al Ihsan Charity for UAE Orphans, Disabled Children’s Association in Saudi Arabia, and Harmony House in Gurgaon, just outside of Delhi, India.”
