Bistronomy Made in Dubai

Molecule is Dubai’s latest dining destination and is designed to transport guests on a culinary journey whilst elevating one’s senses. Executive Chef Udo Moreau at Molecule Restaurant & Lounge explains the concept.

Situated in the heart of the Dubai Design District, according to Chef Udo, what makes Molecule stand out from such a dynamic pool of restaurants in the city is that it combines key ingredients of a successful dining destination, all within a culturally inspiring setting. He elaborates, “Molecule was designed as a cultural crossroad, bringing people together for the love of food and appreciation of art, design and sound.”

Bistronomy

The concept of Bistronomy is built upon the culinary principles, incorporating fresh and seasonal products with rich and regional flavors, all presented within a casual dining setting. Still quite new to the region, Chef Udo explains this concept, or parts of it are becoming more popular and being applied amongst other dining concepts.

Taking cultural appreciation to a new level, Molecule has collaborated with key regional designers and artists to bring its patrons a culturally enriching experience. As the concept of the menu is based around the principles of bistronomy, Chef Udo says that menu changes are inevitable and based on the seasonality of the products, explaining, “My role as Executive Chef is to continue to challenge the palates of our guests, taking ingredients from around the world and incorporating them into our unique food menu.”
