Brow Power…Tried and Tested Fluffy Brows

Chloe Walsh is a name many people already familiar with in Dubai. Her level of expertise, knowledge and practice has made her one of the best in town. And her being my brow therapist means I was in very good hands. After the first dose of numbing cream, Emla, was applied, Chloe first measured my brows, carefully assessed the shape and the color and drew them in. We checked them together and she asked me my preferences also, opting for two shades of ash brown to give a more natural and ombre effect. She explained the technique was NOT tattooing but involved depositing color on the skin but using strokes that resemble our natural hair. The result of this is that the eyebrows are given a very natural look that is not permanent, but lasts for about a year. 

After the Emla had sent in, Chloe did what was called a “pigment wash” whereby the initial deposit of color was applied. Then a stronger cream than Emla numbing cream was applied for the second round where she went over the areas, deftly adding small strokes. 

The comfort level was tolerable, though in some places slightly uncomfortable. Overall, it was a like a scratching on the brows kind of feeling. Afterwards my brows looked a bit dark, but I was told this would gradually fade to the ash brown shade we had selected. I was also informed to keep the area dry and not to play with them.  

Results: My eyebrows instantly looked fuller and thicker. Gaps were filled in, and my face looked immediately different. This is a must-do treatment for anyone who has sparse brows and is tired of the daily high maintenance routine in getting them right. Fluffy brows are the answer for low maintenance brows.
