As Ramadan is almost here, all of us can aspire to change bad habits into more productive ones to ensure a more fulfilled lifestyle. Here are some simple, yet effective tips to help…

Be more mindful– By being connected to the moment you are more able respond to your urges in a way that is consistent with your values and not simply react to them mindlessly.

Be different –
Instead of learning more or reading more about how you can ‘beat the habit’make a plan and behaviorally change your ways. Everyday keep a tally of how many times you were able to conquer your negative habits and how many times you succumbed. You are what your repeatedly do!

Live a life of values – Behaviors that are anchored in a deep place of values are going to be able to withstand urges a lot more than behaviors/habits that are trendy or popular. Remind yourself of what your values are and show committed action towards your values every day.
