Coping with Adult Acne

An estimated 25 percent of all adult men and 50 percent of adult women suffer acne at some point in their adult lives. In fact, statistics reported by American Dermatology Association suggest that the median age for patients suffering from acne has been gradually increasing from 20.5 years to approximately 26.5 years. In women, the development of hormonal irregularity in the menstrual cycle is one reason why the condition is more commonly reported among the female population.
Tips To Prevent Adult Acne
✓ Facial cleansing in the morning and night will help to keep the skin oil free.
✓ Choose products that are specifically for sensitive acne-prone skin or for adult acne. This includes your cleanser, toner, treatment, moisturizer, and sunscreen.
✓ Lifestyle modifications, change in dietary habits and combating stress definitely helps.
✓ A diet rich in fiber, salads, whole wheat bread, bran, or multi-grain foods and different kinds of fruits is recommended.
✓ Drink at least eight glasses of water per day.
Hormones—they continue to act up. You know your hormones were behind the acne of your adolescence. During puberty, “your hormones are suddenly acting on your oil glands,” explains R. Sonia Batra, M.D., a dermatologist in Santa Monica, California. “Skin tends to be very oily; pustules and inflamed spots crop up at the surface of the skin.” Most breakouts in adulthood are still hormone-related; it’s just that now they tend to fluctuate around your cycle or be triggered by other influences (see below). And adult acne looks different: “It’s more clogs, blackheads, and whiteheads all over, as well as inflamed cysts and pimples along the jawline and upper neck,” says New York City dermatologist Neal Schultz, M.D.

It’s an excellent story. Very hot and exciting. I like stories like this. I would add some more sex. After all, our characters can use sex toys, which I read about on the site which has great reviews. It seems to me that it will be much more interesting and sexier.
