Dubai’s Most Stylish Brunch… All’onda’s Casanova Friday Brunch

Held on the top of the recently launched decadent Emerald Palace Kempinski, Casanova at All’onda is a Venetian restaurant with an amazing outdoor terrace overlooking Dubai’s panoramic skyline. The interiors are modern avant-garde—black mirrored walls patterned with golden lines; the vibe emanates an ornate, but tastefully designed venue which merges a sharing concept with socializing and gourmet dining at the highest level. Collaboration between Chef Chris Jaeckle, the Casanova brunch menu takes inspiration from Venetian cuisine which over time, has come to blend Italian gastronomy with Asian influences.

The salads, sushi, and desserts are self-serve at this brunch while the mains are served at the table. There are five types of sushi including tuna maki roll, spicy salmon roll, sweet potato miso roll, mushroom Wagyu beef maki, and tempura. There was cold antipasto on the counter, including smoked salmon, grilled eggplant salad, tamarind eggs, chilled beetroot soup, grilled cabbage salad.

The mains are the perfect complement to the salads and sushi and are well thought out. Served at the table, each dish is high-quality—from the tomato rigatoni and chicken teriyaki with rice bowls to the roasted sea bass and risotto…And then our unanimous favorite—the hearty and flavorful beef lasagna.

There is a beautiful desserts self-serve counter with some truly indulgent sweet treats on offer—my favorite standouts were the creamy Tres Leches cake, the rich red velvet cake, and the divine cheesecake in a miniature flower pot.

The Verdict: Casanova at All’Onda is the coolest brunch in town. The food, the ambiance, and the venue—all merged together to create this huge afternoon party with gorgeous outdoor seating that gives you a stunning setting on the Palm Jumeirah with breathtaking blue sea views across Dubai.
