Charcoal: As important as regular facials and skin cleansing are, at home care can prove to be beneficial in the long run. Charcoal has some great properties to help bind the dirt and help pull it out of the pores. It is known to balance oily skin by eliminating excess sebum and oils. With its slightly gritty texture, activated charcoal is good for skin exfoliation. Its impurity-sucking properties make it an even better exfoliator.

Oils: Hydration and keeping the skin nourished is equally important as cleansing it. Oils can also have a nourishing impact on the skin. After a good exfoliation session or skin scrubbing, oils like olive oil and hazelnut oil, sunflower oil can provide hydration to the cells. Massaging oils regularly on the skin on neck and face can also increase blood circulation which is a great anti-aging technique.
