This year has seen a gigantic surge in the food truck scene in Dubai, offering everything from gourmet burgers and fries to authentic Mexican street food. One of the pioneers of this gastronomic movement is Truckers DXB, a food truck movement founded in Dubai by cultural entrepreneur Alexandre Teodoresco in 2016. He further went on to create Food Truck JAM, a key event of Truckers DXB, which merges together some of the most talented, homegrown food concepts in the region, all in one space.

Its second season is even bigger with around 40 food trucks serving delicious gourmet street food in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This backyard party with exceptional food is managed by events management company Core ME and offers an ultimate ‘backyard party’ experience that stretches beyond food. It is, in fact, a complete entertainment package that includes live entertainment, fun activities for the entire family, and a craft market.

Some of the food trucks to look out for include Moti Roti, Nattas, Tuk Tuk, Calle Tacos, Yumtingz, WokiNaki, amongst many more.

Latest Events
As part of the Dubai Food Festival, food truck movement Truckers DXB, and brand new Dubai Properties development Marasi Business Bay partner are to host ‘Truckers at Marasi Business Bay’ from March 9 to 11.  The three-day foodie event will take place at the waterfront promenade that is set to become a permanent event destination in the Emirate. There will be live music, DJs, and family entertainment – from jugglers, mechanical bulls, to kids cooking station.
Timings: March 9 to 11, 4pm to 11pm. Free entry.
