Keep Your Skin in Top Condition This Summer

The summer here can bring along with it its own set of challenges; from excessive sunlight and heat to exposure to harsh air conditioning indoors. Here are some easy, yet effective ways to keep your skin in top condition this summer.

Regularly use a good sunscreen:
A sunscreen that includes both UVA and UVB protection of SPF 30 and above should be used regularly to avoid sunburn and pigmentation. This should be applied even when indoors and remember to reapply it every two hours.

Stay Hydrated: Water carries heat away from your body. Be sure to drink enough water and remain hydrated.

Take care of your skin: Invest in a mild exfoliator to remove dull, dead skin from your face. And while a good moisturizer will serve the needs of your skin, be sure to snack on healthy fruits, which are high in water content.
