Tame Your Tresses with a Kerastase Treatment

With the colder weather, my hair looked more frizzy and dry than ever. For fix this problem, I was invited to the Tips & Toes Salon at Dubai Festival City to try their Kerastase Treatment to infuse some vitality and life back into my tresses– here’s how it went… 

The salon is spacious and has the signature Feng Shui elements as well as the different rooms for nail care, massage, and hair. As a big bonus, I was invited to indulge in a half hour neck and shoulders massage by the spa manager Achini, who revealed that massage was one of their core areas of expertise and left me safe hands with Rowena, the massage therapist. As she kneaded and worked out the knots in my problem areas, I was immediately relaxed and felt the stress melting away.

Now for my hair; Maryjoe, who was in charge of my Kerastase, examined my hair and consulted about the specific Kerastase she would curate using the special products for this treatment. As my hair was both colored and dry, as well as fine in texture and lackluster, she opted for the Kerastase Fusio Dose. This was a nice treatment to do once or twice monthly to keep the hair in good condition and help with colored hair especially.  

She began by shampooing my hair twice, but skipped the conditioner. Next at the chair, she sectioned my hair and applied the combined serums into my hair by spraying and massaging it. She explained the Fusio Dose would stay on for 15 minutes before it was rinsed off. Next, a deep conditioning masque by Kerastase was applied and left on for about five minutes to seal in moisture and the cuticles. The final step was a complete blow dry to finish the look.  

Results: Super soft hair in so little time! This is a great treatment to do if you want a quick hair transformation. The ladies at Tips & Toes are friendly and make the entire experience very enjoyable.
