Why We Should All Be Using All Natural Ingredients

People in the UAE and the world are placing greater value on what they put into their bodies. It’s becoming clear that health is the new wealth. In fact, according to a recent survey commissioned by Anchor Food Professionals, more than 60 percent of UAE residents are willing to pay more for fresh, natural, and minimally-processed ingredients while eating out.

Processed foods receive a lot of bad press (and rightly so!) due to the fact that contact with pesticides and other artificial substances can be detrimental to health –it’s simple, with all-natural ingredients you just don’t get this problem. Fresh ingredients retain a lot more nutritious value too, so there’s no question when it comes to the quality of your food.

It’s no surprise then that consumers are increasingly aware of the important role that fresh ingredients play in health and nutrition – the same study showed that 67 percent of respondents are worried about the effect of processed food on their health.

This growing preference for fresh, authentic whole foods is great news for dairy as the ultimate all-natural food – butter, which is just a churn away from milk, has seen a global surge in demand while full-cream milk is back in fashion. UAE residents are familiar with the benefits of all-natural dairy, too, with 60 percent of respondents seeing it as a healthy food option and 62 percent agreeing it is healthier than non-natural fat blend alternatives such as oils and margarines.”

Today, consumers are starting to push away their overly-processed plates and substituting them with fresh, natural ingredients that are doing a world of wonder for their health. What’s more, they are jam-packed with flavor, too.

As a rule, when eating in a restaurant, always double-check where your food has come from. Many restaurants are now favoring all-natural suppliers –Sale Sucre, The Pizza Company, and Revo in the Movenpick Ibn Battuta Gate are just three restaurants which make use of natural butters and creams from Anchor Food Professionals, making them much healthier options over others who use blends for their menu items. Not only does butter have none of the trans-fats contained in margarine and blends that are responsible for raising blood pressure, it also contains a number of fat soluble vitamins that are devoid in blends, including vitamins A, D and E, which contribute to a number of different health benefits.
