What’s Stopping You?

Stuck in a rut or happy just being in your comfort zone? You may be unknowingly grappling with some deep-rooted fears that are hindering your chances for success. Here are some of the most common fears and what they mean…

The fear of failure: Many individuals will steer away from trying something new or undertaking a challenge unless they are guaranteed success. What this translates to in the adult world is someone who shies away from opportunities which may lead to personal and/or professional growth.

The fear of rejection: Many people may avoid befriending others or entering into a relationship with someone due to a fear of being rejected.

The fear of change: Many adults believe that living a predictable life means living a sensible life. As daunting as it may seem, embracing change and stepping outside of one’s comfort is often the catalyst for creating more opportunities and excitement in our lives.

The fear of being judged: As adults, we may shy away from exploring our innate strengths and interests out of a fear of being judged by others.
